WALL-E (2008)
WALL-E Plot Summary:
The movie Wall-E is set in a distant future which is not so realistic. Earth is covered in trash from human neglect which makes it impossible to live in. Wall-E is a garbage collecting robot sent to earth to clean up the mess. He is so into the history and show tunes of this place and is trying as much as he can to learn more.
Eve, who is reconnaissance robot, is also sent to earth to bring back news that the place is once more sustainable. Wall-E becomes fond of Eve and soon falls in love. He saves her from a storm of dust and later presents her with a plant that had survived in the garbage.
Suddenly, Eve enters a shut down mode and only has a green blinking beacon. Wall-E doesn't know what has happened or what to do but still protects her. A ship comes back to take her and Wall-E hitch hikes the ride back to the space cruise where humans float around in chairs with constant television. They all seem lazy and fat and eat their food from a straw. The ship's computer tries to stop the people from returning to earth by stealing the plant which is proof that there is life on earth and that is where Wall-E, Eve, and other robots stage a mutiny.
