Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Plot Summary:
This is the third part of the legendary Pirates of the Caribbean movie series, with each one being more and more complicated and tangled. If you are the fan of inimitable Jack Sparrow and his team and you have already watched the previous two parts, then you can't just miss this one. So find some time for Pirates of the Caribbean: At the World's End review and the movie as well.
In fact, there is a tendency for each new part of Pirates of the Caribbean to get lower IMDb rating (the first part is definitely a hit). However, those who love really adventurous stories won't mind this little flaw. Whatever the storyline but the cast is of a greater importance. With Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush and Keira Knightley starring, this is a win-win movie that is worth seeing.
As with the first two prequels, this part is full of much good laughs given not only by Jack Sparrow alone (he is funny by all means) but by many other characters including even the monkey and parrot. The movie itself is rather entertaining with incredible special effects, but it seems to be too overlong, you need almost three hours to get to know where is the world's end, two hours would be enough I think.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End movie features a great number of awesome oversea and undersea scenes what look great on a big screen. With striking creatures of course, including the captain of 'The Flying Dutchman' Davy Jones.
While you can be pleased with cast and waterscapes, you should also follow a storyline not to be mixed up with what happens in the movie. As usual a storytelling is very complicated. Captain Jack Sparrow in now in the land of the dead, and he could spend the rest of his days there but for being one of nine Pirate Lords, who should meet together and solve the conflict between the East India Trading Company and the pirates. Lord Cutler Beckett applies severe penalties to pirates and those who somehow connected with pirates to control each inch of the land and sea. However he decides to get the full power over the sea with the help of Davy Jones, this strange creature-man, pirate captain of the ship. Will finds out that his father is on Jones' ship, so he decides to help him get freedom. At the end the conflict is solved, Will's father is found so that there is nothing to worry about already, just be looking forward for a sequel part.
