From Paris With Love (2010)

James Reese, A personal Aide to the U.S Ambassador in France, has a great life in the Country's Capital Paris and a beautiful Rich French girlfriend. His side job as a low-level operative for the CIA is James' real passion and his great desire is to become a bona fide member of CIA so that he can see some action. His wish comes true when he is offered his first senior-level assignment with his new partner Special Agent Charlie Wax who has been sent to Paris to put a stop to a terrorist attack.

James first test is to get Wax released from airport detention because he didn't want to surrender his favorite energy drink. James gets more than what he bargains for when Wax takes him on a shooting spree in the under worlds of Paris. He then finds out that he is a target of the crime ring they want to bust and he realizes that he has to put all his hope and trust in Wax in case he wants to make through the next forty eight hours still alive and breathing. He eventually discovers that the terrorist they had wiped out are targeting a summit and his fiance is one of them. After all this is over, James becomes an official agent.
