Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Plot Summary:
About a decade ago Harry Potter fantasy series was declared to be a bestseller. In fact a book acquire the status of a bestseller when it is extremely popular and read by many, but when it comes to Harry Potter this is a Mega bestseller, because apart from being a popular book series this is also one of the most popular adaptation which is eagerly watched by millions of people.
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 movie is one of the most expecting part. While the first part was a great surprise for the viewers, the final one is a long-awaited film intended to dot all i's and cross all t's. Strange as it may be but Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 reviews differ in opinion from blaming to praising it.
Obviously, David Yates tried to follow the book as closely as possible but still you will find that in some episodes he failed to deliver all those emotions you get after you've read the story. The movie is fast-paced but in this regard it is rather a flaw than a benefit. The confrontation between Harry and Snape that was getting more tense through all previous series ended abruptly by revealing all Snape's memories in just one minute. Not enough time for wows, because some reflections are intended to take you by surprise. The film was shortcut in a way, omitting some very significant details. However, all these features are very important only for real fans of published Harry Potter series. Those enjoying the previous sequels of a franchise consider this final to be more than decent, because:
- first, the acting is perfect especially that of Snape who is more emotional and of Voldemort who is cunningly triumphal here;
- second, special effects, graphics and cinematography is excellent with all those realistic creatures and lots of action you could see long before the movie, in a trailer I mean;
- third, they delivered nice sought-after final to a story even by skipping some details.
There is hardly a person in the USA who haven't read or watched anything about Harry Potter, and the major part who did fell in love with a boy and his friends. With the book translated onto about 64 languages and the film shown all over the world, the final part Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 movie is definitely a must see film.
