Death at a Funeral (2010)

This movie is a remake of a British movie released in 2007 and is an out and out comedy. Situational comedy it is, and the situation is so described that the funeral service of the father of Aaron and Ryan is being organized and there is a series of incidents that make audiences laugh whole heartedly. Aaron is jealous of his brother Ryan as Ryan is more successful as a writer but still hasn't contributed to pay for father's funeral.

A guest named Frank arrives claiming to be a lover of their deceased father and demands $30000 from the brothers. One of the guests has been given valium by his girlfriend to remain composed in front of her father but as things turn out, she has actually given him a hallucinogenic drug instead of Valium as her brother is doing illegal drug business. The funeral service begins amidst both Aaron and Ryan trying their best to keep the supposed gay lover of their father and the boy who is obviously under very high spirits.

The guest who is under the influence of drug assumes that the coffin is moving and he knocks it over which causes the body to come out and it turns out that the body is not that of Aaron's father but of someone else. Frank threatens to reveal about his sexual relations with his father to his mother. Aaron discusses this problem with Ryan who suggests Aaron to pay money to Frank as he is totally under debt. When Aaron refuses to pay money to Frank, he starts to leave saying he would tell everything to Aaron's mother. Aaron and Ryan attack him and tie him up, and then to calm him, give him the same drug thinking it to be valium. Frank tries to run but falls and hits his head with the table. Aaron and Ryan put his body inside the coffin thinking him to be dead.
