Crazy Heart Plot Summary:

Bad Blake has that “rode hard and put up wet” look seen all too often in old worn out country singers. He drinks too much and he smokes too much and he can’t seem to make marriage work for him after four tries. At fifty seven Otis “Bad” Blake finds his career as a country western singer to be sinking fast into the waste water of bowling alley performances and small clubs where the average age of the audience is less than half his, thus many have no clue who he is. But that’s OK because he has no clue either. The music is sweet and so is Jeff Bridges performance.

A story of self destruction in the world of Country Music

Self destructiveness in the music world is nothing new, whether it’s country or rock and roll. These folks are “artists” and go by a somewhat different code than the rest of us. “Bad” Blake has been traveling down this road of destruction for so long he’s no longer sure who he is or where he wants life to take him. When my pals told me that Crazy Heart movie downloads were available on the net, I instantly went ahead with the download. After all, what’s better than having a personal movie copy which I could watch at leisure and at any time that I’d want to.

Crazy Heart is for those who love Country Music

Do you really need to be a country music aficionado to appreciate Crazy Heart? No, but it might help if you at least recognize that some of those songs you hear throughout are sung by such legends as Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson. It sets the theme for this heart wrenching story of a washed up singer who literally gave his career away to a former partner (Tommy Sweet) who had a smash hit with a “Bad” song. I saw it at the cinema and found it good enough to take the time to download Crazy Heart movie for my own personal collection.

Country Music never goes out of style

I’d heard some good stuff about this movie, so I decided to download Crazy Heart movie. Well, it’s a good thing that I did. As a long time lover of Country music I was delighted to see this one, especially with Jeff Bridges in the starring role. He did not disappoint! The story of a down on his luck, alcoholic Country singer who begins the story by stating “I used to be someone, now I’m someone else” tells where this story is going to take us, the audience. He is in need of redemption before his life is totally wasted away.

Country Music Legends Perform

This movie has some awesome music and it’s not just from Waylon Jennings and Robert Duvall. Jeff Bridges can sing! The character in this movie, Crazy Heart seems loosely based on the lives of Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, and Merle Haggard and that’s enough to make it interesting by itself. We watch a man nearly self destruct but root for him to make his comeback, or at least find peace with himself. I loved the movie so I searched around for sites where I could download Crazy Heart movie and downloaded it to my computer. Now, I can watch the movie any time I want. ☺

Jeff Bridges proves it runs in his family… talent that is

As “Bad” Blake, we see the multi talented Jeff Bridges in a heart wrenching performance as a washed up country music singer who “used to be someone, but now he’s someone else”. Crazy Heart movie download was available so I just went ahead. It was certainly worth it as I loved the movie. It is amazing to see how many real life musicians are reflected in Blake’s performances and how easy it is to fail even when you are so good at what you do.
