The Wolfman Movie Review

This year began with the release of a good classic horror remake of the 1941 Wolfman movie. The movie was first launched and released in the market on February 10, 2010 in France. Its direction was hosted by none other than Joe Johnston together with the film stars - Benincio del Toro, Hugo Weaving, Emily Blunt, Anthony Hopkins and Geraldine Chaplin.

The Wolfman has been at the favor of many causing millions of people to flock at the cinema places craving to watch the fascinating horror film. Due to its current popularity, the movie holds a 32 percent rating. The critical response from the audiences is highly positive thus selling healthily. In fact, the majority preferred the 2010 version to the original due to the personality played by Del Toro, who played his role as Lawrence. Numerous companies have favored the movie hence involved in its merchandising.

Wolfman's reproduction or remaking was announced in the year 2006 by the Universal Pictures. Del Toro was one of the coordinators of the whole remaking process. The Screen writer Kevi Walker was attached to the screen play and helped in developing the film story line together with additional film effects that could add value to the modern film qualities. A movie star of the original film, Romanek was replaced by Brett Ratner. The film shooting led and organized by Johnston and the scripting was done by David Self.

The main make-up artist of the original film was Rick Baker. He passed his positive views of acknowledgment concerning the incredible remaking of the film. He also acknowledged that Del Toro played a perfect role of being The Wolfman since he fitted his role.
