Legion: An Atypical Action Thriller

Legion is an good action thriller movie to watch that has a somewhat atypical story line of the endless battle between good and villain. It is atypical in the sense that humanity or part of the human race is faced with an Apocalypse that is sent to them by God. So the plot of the story is basically set around the battle for salvation by humans against God's angels who carry with then His wrath.
Scott Stewart is the movie's director and he admittedly put a lot of thought into the movie even though the story line is far from being unique. The arch angel who represents humanity's battle for redemption from the Apocalypse is played by Paul Bettany. Other cast members include Dennis Quaid, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibsian, Kate Walsh and Adrienne Palicki. The setting of Legion is a desert dinner that is little known and thus an unlikely scene of the battle between good and evil that is to emanate.
Though many of the supernatural action thrillers such as Supernatural series among others have attracted a specific group of movie watchers, Legion is quite ambiguous when it comes to its target audience. This is partly because the different themes that the Director might have attempted to bring out all at once. Movie watchers of supernatural science fiction movies have a certain mindset for these kinds of movies. Legion was too short and too mediocre in terms of the choreography and this may have disappointed its audience.
The choreography fell short of expectations mostly because the fighting scenes did not appear to be well thought out. The only guy that perhaps gave a substantial act was the starring Arch Angel, Paul Bettany but even his battle act is not one that is entirely unforgettable. Unfortunately, all other members of Legion were lost in the background and so were their acts, thus making this particular movie a luke-warm show.
