Some people did not expect much out of "The Social Network" but reviews were positive.

1. The Social Network (10 out of 10)

This is a movie about how facebook got started. Many people figured it was going to be a movie with a bunch of fluff and a cheap story. Surprisingly they were wrong. Reviews have been strong for this movie which shocked many. 'The Social Network' has good acting and a very nice story. Its a great drama to see if you spend any time on facebook and always wondered how it got so big.

2. Shutter Island (9 out of 10)

If you love drama you will love Shutter Island. It stars a well known and great actor, Mr Leonardo Dicaprio. This is a action and suspense drama movie that is going to keep you coming back for more until the very end. The setting is in a maximum security prison and at first all seems normal. The so called normal quickly turns into abnormal as the mystery of this place unravels. If you like thrillers you will love this one.

3. Winter's Bone (8 out of 10)

Winters bone is sort of a sad movie. You feel for the characters because their lives are certainly not great by any means. Ree dolly is the daugher of a drug producer who has ran away leaving her, her mother and two younger siblings all to themselves. They then learn they have to find the father or else they will lose their house. That sets this big drama into motion. 'Winter's Bone' has rave reviews and I don't want to give too much of the story away. This movie will keep you guessing until the end.

4. The Ghost Writer (7 out of 10)

The Ghost writer is a film about a guy who takes a big opportunity job to "Ghost write" for a former British Prime Minister. He thinks the job is going to be a great thing but the longer he is there the more he wishes he had never took the job. The last Ghost Writer to work for this Ex Prime Minister was found dead on the beach. The suspicion is his death was not a accident so he sets out to figure out the secrets of the guy he works for. If you like a lot of drama, suspense and some action in your movies then The Ghost writer is a good movie for you to watch.

5. Green Zone (7 out of 10)

Green zone stars Matt Damon and is a war movie type drama. It is based on what is going on in the Middle East and what America is doing over there. The movie is also based on the search for WMD's or Weapons of Mass Destruction. It is a descent thriller based on true stuff that is going on over there but some aspects of it could have been better. 'Green Zone' still receives 7 out of 10 for a rating which is pretty good. It is worth watching if you like war movie dramas.

6. Wall Street 2 (7 out of 10)

'Wall Street 2' is just packed full of twists and turns. It is very detailed and is perfect for someone who wants that type of drama movie. It is based on wall street greed, something we all have had to suffer the consequences of in this global recession we are going through. 'Wall Street 2' shows just what greed can do to someone and even what it can do to the people around you. I think you will enjoy it if you are in the mood for a movie that's not like all the others.

7. Extraordinary Measures (6 out of 10)

This is a brilliant picture based on a true story staring Harrison Ford. Some of these true story movies can be a little far fetched once Hollywood gets ahold of them but overall this movie was believable. The acting was good and so was the story. Its a great story of how far one couple went to save their children from Pompe disease. 'Extraordinary Measures' will keep you guessing until the very end.

8. The Book of Eli (6 out of 10)

This is my personal best drama movie of 2010 and quite frankly it could be my favorite movie of all time. I found the story to be absolutely amazing and touching at times. It has the right amount of action and drama mixed in. Denzel Washington plays a old man on a journey in a cruel world. The acting is brilliant and the story is actually fun. You will be on the edge of your seat the whole time and the ending will blow your mind.

9. Robin Hood (6 out of 10)

It has been many years since a Robin Hood movie has came out. Now that one has been produced is it any good is the question? Many say yes and a few do say no. Overall Robin Hood has a good rating so more have said yes than no. This picture is a story of how our favorite Archer, Robin Hood became the legend he is. It is a action packed and suspenseful movie and if you like movies like that I am sure you will like it. Could it have been better? The answer is yes but it also could have been worse. Is it worth watching? In my opinion yes, I think you will enjoy it.

10. Dear John (6 out of 10)

Dear John is as you could see by the previews a romantic drama movie. It deserves this spot among the other best drama movies of 2010. Yes, the story might could have been better but some people could find something to complain about no matter what. The movie is detailed with lots of drama. Many people could not stop talking about how much they liked this film. Some people loved it so much they watched it over and over again and it now sits in DVD form in their house. Will you like this movie? Do you like drama and suspense mixed in with romance? If you do then this movie is for you.
