1. The Lion King (1994) (Rating: 8.2/10)

The lion king is a pretty good movie. It is a Disney classic for sure that many years after it was released is still making families laugh together. It is a story that begins with a young Simba living life happily. His life changes forever once his father is brutally murdered by his brother who wants to be the new king of the jungle. Simba grows up with a couple of unlikely animals who take him in and train him right. He later goes on to challenge his uncle and restore proper ruling to the jungle. It is a perfect movie for the whole family.

2. The Incredibles (2004) (Rating: 8.1/10)

This movie earns its spot on the best Disney movies for kids list. Being a animated action hero type movie you might would figure it would be corney and kind of stupid but that is just not the case. It is a story with an amazing storyline that will be a classic. It is about superheroes who was forced to go into hiding because the people thought they caused too much harm. Having superpowers and not being able to save people or use them can be hard. Little by little they start helping people more and it does get better for them. This is a great story that is action and drama packed. It is great for the whole family.

3. Toy Story (1995) (Rating: 8.2/10)

Toy story put Pixar on the map. It for its time was a brilliantly animated movie with a great story line. I remember watching this movie over and over as a young kid. Even today many years later my whole family still enjoys watching this movie. This movie is not just for the kids but adults will like it too. It is a movie about toys actually being alive. When we don't look they play. It has a great mix of action, supsense and drama. If you have not saw this movie you really need to see it. 4. Finding Nemo (2003) (Rating: 8.2/10)

I just want to say up front that Finding Nemo is a brilliat movie. For a animated movie it was really amazing. It has great animation and graphics and all the effects are nicely done. It is a movie about one Dads journey to finding his captured son. Nemo was captured when he did not listen to his dad and went out into the open water. He ends up as a pet for a very rough girl but he pretends to be dead to escape. Meanwhile Nemo's dad searches the ocean in a attempt to find his lost son. You will really enjoy this movie.

5. Monsters, Inc. (2001) (Rating: 8.2/10)

Was you afriad of the monsters in the closet as a kid? If you was not you probably had friends that believed that monsters lived in their closet. Well this is a disney movie all about the monsters in the closet. It is a very interesting movie about how monsters are paid to come into the closet and it is a actual business. It is Monsters Inc. where you go to work to be the monster in the closet. It is a cute disney movie perfect for the kids and you should get a few laughs out of it as well.

6. Aladdin (1992) (Rating: 8.2/10)

This was one of my favorite movies as a young kid. Have you ever wanted to fly on a magic carpet? Have you ever wanted a genie to grant you your own 3 wishes? Well this movie is all about one "street rat" aka a poor homeless man who finds a genie. This genie is played perfectly by the comedian Robin Williams. It is a great story of just what being a good person can do for you and what being bad will do to you. Its got a great mix of comedy and action. You will really love this movie and so will the kids.

7. Beauty and the Beast (1991) (Rating: 8.0/10)

This is a classic Disney movie. It does not matter that is had been around for a few years the story is still making kids and adults alike happy to this day and will continue to do so for generations to come. Beauty and the beast is a classic disney princess movie. The princess falls in love with a actual Beast not just a ugly man. She finds out the beast that people are so afraid of is actually very sweet and friendly with a big heart. He has been hurt and once his walls fall down she see's who he is on the inside. This is a great story for the whole family.

8. The Little Mermaid (1989) (Rating: 7.5/10)

This is a old movie that is still being enjoyed by kids today. Sure, it is not the oldest of the best disney movies for kids out there but it is one of the best ever made. It has a top notch story that even adults will like. It starts out with a mermaid under the sea enjoying life but she falls in love with a human. Mermaids are not to be seen by humans let alone have contact with one. She saves one from a ship wreck and gets seen. Her dad is furious but she goes against his will and tries to keep seeing him. This gets her in a little bit of trouble and not just with daddy. It's a great movie for the whole family.

9. Mulan (1998) (Rating: 7.2/10)

Mulan is a pretty good movie for the whole family. Its a really well thought out story of a girl who watches her hurt dad get called in for war. She knows he won't survive so she steals his stuff and poses as her dad. She turns out to be a pretty good fighter and gains the respect of the general and her fellow warriors. They later find out she is a girl and instead of killing her they let her go. This is only the beginning of Mulans journey though. 10. Cinderella (1950) (Rating: 7.4/10)

Cinderella is a absolute classic Disney movie. It has been around for a long time yet kids today still love to watch it. It is a timeless story of a girl whose mother dies and her dad re-marries. The dad then dies and we see years later that Cinderealla is living with her step mom and 2 sisters as basically a slave. She has a fairy god mother come and grant her a wish to go to the royal ball for a chance to win the heart of the prince. She only has till Midnight and if she is not back all her magical stuff will vanish. As she hurried home she leave behind a glass slipper and the price gets every girl in the kingdom to try the shoe on because he wants to find the girl of his dreams than ran out. Will he find her and live happily ever after? You will have to watch Cindrella and find out.
