Do you like horror movies? They have been extremely popular over the years and they have a large fan base. The pictures below on the 'Top 10 Horror Movies of 2010 You Should Watch' list will keep you on the edge of your seat in suspense and excitement. For some people horror films are nothing more than comical because they just are not scary. For others they are enough to almost make them pee their pants out of fear.
Even for the people who don't find horror movies scary some of them will scare them. Many scary films have been made over the years and many that were not so scary. In 2010 there is a nice group of scary pictures on the top 10 list. Will you be scared by any of these top horror movies? Well I can't say that for sure but I bet you will find a few films on the list below that will surely entertain you. So by all means take a look at the list below and pick out a few movies to watch. 1. Shutter Island (9 out of 10)
Shutter island is a movie you will enjoy watching. It is one of those movies where at the end you are sort of blown away. The ending to this it is going to surprise you. Shutter island is suspenseful and will keep you intrigued enough to watch it. I must say the acting in this film is very good and the story line is amazing. What is so neat about this movie is the way the story just changes. I do not want to give away the movie plot so all I will say is your opinion of the characters will change during the movie. 2. Buried (8 out of 10)
Buried is about being buried alive as the name suggests. For some people this is a big fear of theirs and this movie is all about it. One guy gets hit in the head and then wakes up buried alive in a coffin. He has a cell phone and so he can call for help. Sadly the help isn't very helpful. Buried is a great thriller and it might just make you think about how scary it would be to wake up in a coffin buried 6 feet under the ground. Will you like it? Well I can't say for sure, some people have and some people have not liked it. Watch Buried and see for yourself if you like it. It is worth it's spot on the 'top 10 horror films of 2010'.
3. Saw 3D: The Traps Come Alive (7 out of 10)
Believe it or not they made another saw movie. I am not sure really what got people so hooked on these movies. I guess people like violence and nasty stuff to a extent. This is not just another saw movie but a saw movie in 3D. Not only will you see and hear violent stuff but you will have it thrown in your face in awesome 3D. This is supposedly the final saw movie, I guess we will see about that. If it makes a lot of money like the last ones they might decide to make another movie. If you like gory horror movies then this one is for you. Its not exactly as scary as it is gory.
4. Predators (7 out of 10)
Predators is a coninuation of the original Predator movies. This movie is much more modern with better acting and a pretty good storyline. Predators has held a good rating too. The quality of the movie is really pretty good. Like the other films with Predator in it you can expect some gore and violence. This horror picture is about people who find themself on a strange planet which turns out is a large hunting preserve for Predators. They are in a fight for their lives as they are hunted by many Predators. You are bound to enjoy it if you liked the other Predator movie.
5. The Crazies (7 out of 10)
The Crazies is a remake of a movie by the same name produced in 1973. Back then it was just some low budget movie but the remake actually has a great story behind it. It is much improved over the original movie. It is a form of zombie movie but it is not just another typical stupid zombie movie. The Crazies has a good story, it is suspenseful and dramatic. I think you will like the story a good bit. Just a warning, it does have quite a few foul words in it. The Crazies would be worth watching if you want a great suspenseful story to watch.
6. Piranha 3D (7 out of 10)
Do you like movies with a lot of special effects in them? Well then you will probably like Piranha 3D. Honestly though this movie is not like the movies 10 years ago where the special effects and story was so cheap it was laughable even then. The story is actually pretty descent and the special effects are good. Piranha 3D is all about piranhas attacking people and is sorta a scary thriller type movie. If you like a film with a lot of suspense you will like Piranha 3D. One warning though, this picture is filled with nudity.
7. Paranormal Activity 2 (6 out of 10)
Paranormal activity 2 is sorta like the first one. Some people liked the movie and some people did not like it. When it comes to the second movie you may still not like it even if you saw and liked the first one. My friend, who has seen both said he did not like the second movie. Paranormal Activity 2 is like the first one, a house is haunted and we watch as all kinds of things happen to the people living in the house. If you like scary movies you probably will like this one. It has lots of scary parts in it but the story could have been better some say. If you like scary films it is worth watching.
8. Frozen (6 out of 10)
I have rode on the ski lifts before and honestly the way they shake and move scares me. Now picture being in the cold and getting stuck on one of them for days. This is what this movie is all about. You may think that the movie sounds stupid but just think of how scared you would be if you knew you had been left behind for just about a week. Sure, the story could be a little better but this movie is worth watching. You could watch worse movies for sure. The acting was well done and the reactions by the characters was realistic.
9. Resident Evil: Afterlife (6 out of 10)
Alice is back yet again for another fight. If you have watched the other 3 movies then you will probably like this one. If you have not seen the other 3 movies then you won't know what is going on. Resident Evil: Afterlife offers more of the same, with lots of fighting and shooting. The story is okay but it could have been better. Sometimes film makers just drag a story out too long without enough content to actually be worthy of yet another movie. Is this movie one of those cases? Maybe but that it up to you to determine.
10. The Wolfman (6 out of 10)
The Wolfman is a picture about a man who becomes a wolf on a full moon. It is sort of a typical wherewolf type film but it is a neat story. It is a modern wherewolf cinema so you will see lots of special effects and blood. Being that there is a lot of violence and blood you may not want to let your young children watch it. If you like stories about men who change into wolf men then this movie is for you. If you don't then you probably won't enjoy it.

i couldnt believe it i could barely watch the traier let alone the movie ide give it a gold star for its scaryness its also quite origional not one of those that youve seen like 100 different versions of its actually a good story but dont get popcorn it may end up dotted around the room ygm lol :)
