Crime/Gangster

The roaring twenties were exciting and the villains were very real. Movies like Dillinger or Bonny and Clyde conger up images of the anti hero who made newspaper headlines. More modern films of that genre include American Gangster, The Godfather, Goodfellas, or The Getaway entertain while teaching us good from evil. Movies are meant to entertain us and movies about gangsters and crime definitely does that. Law and order is even more popular than in the past and movies like Public Enemies give us an inside look at what gangs and gangsters are all about, while we eat our popcorn and enjoy the show.
